Sourix

What is Sourix?

Sourix is the first 100% French GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) platform. It continuously measures and improves how ChatGPT, Mistral, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini talk about your brand. Hosted on Scaleway Paris, built by a DPO, GDPR/NIS2/AI Act-compliant from day one. Plans start at €39/month with no commitment.

How does Sourix work in practice?

Every week, Sourix runs dozens of representative queries across the 5 major generative AIs, simulating prospects searching for your brand or your competitors. For each query, we measure: your brand's presence, the associated sentiment, your share of voice against competitors, your position in the list, and the sources cited. Each week you receive a report with 3 concrete actions to improve your score.

Which AIs does Sourix monitor?

Five generative AIs: Mistral (France, tested first in every scan), ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Perplexity, and Gemini (Google). Mistral cannot be disabled server-side. The other 4 are opt-in β€” you can disable them at any time in your preferences.

How much does Sourix cost?

Four plans with no commitment: Discovery €39/month (1 brand, 15 prompts/week), Starter €99/month (50 prompts), Pro €199/month (3 brands, 150 prompts), Enterprise €399/month (10 brands, 500 prompts). All plans include GDPR Article 20 export and one-click cancellation.

Can I try Sourix for free?

Yes. The AI Search Grader at sourix.fr/en/grader is entirely free, no signup required. In 30 seconds you get an AI visibility score for your brand across 5 platforms. No credit card needed.

GEO

What is GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)?

GEO is the set of techniques for optimising a brand's visibility in generative AI responses (ChatGPT, Mistral, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini). Unlike classic SEO which targets Google Search, GEO targets AI answer engines that synthesise responses from multiple sources. It is a critical new lever for B2B and B2C brands in 2026.

Why is GEO becoming critical in 2026?

Because 40% of Google searches now go through AI Overviews. Because ChatGPT has 200 million weekly active users. Because Perplexity directly recommends brands in its answers. If your brand is not cited by these AIs, your prospects won't see it β€” regardless of your classic Google ranking.

What is the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO optimises for ranking in a list of 10 blue links. GEO optimises for being CITED as a source in a response synthesised by AI. SEO = passive visibility (the user chooses your link). GEO = prescriptive visibility (the AI recommends your brand in its response). Both are complementary in 2026.

Sovereignty

How does Sourix guarantee data sovereignty?

Four commitments: (1) Exclusive Scaleway Paris hosting β€” data never exported outside Europe. (2) Mistral, the French AI, integrated by default and non-disableable. (3) Architecture that makes it legally impossible to transmit data to a foreign jurisdiction. (4) A human DPO reachable at dpo@sourix.fr with a response within 24 business hours.

What is the Cloud Act and why is it a risk?

The Cloud Act (Clarifying Lawful Overseas Use of Data Act) is a 2018 US law that requires any company under US jurisdiction to hand over data it holds to US authorities on a simple subpoena β€” even if that data is stored in Europe. Concretely: if you use Profound, Peec or AthenaHQ, your data can be transmitted to the US DOJ without your notification or right of appeal. Sourix, hosted on Scaleway France, is not subject to the Cloud Act.

Is Sourix GDPR-compliant?

Sourix is GDPR-native from conception (Privacy by Design). In practice: a standard DPA signed automatically on all plans, an Article 30 GDPR processing register made public, real right to erasure including Supabase auth.users (no soft-delete), Article 20 portability export in CSV+JSON, and a human DPO reachable at dpo@sourix.fr.

Mistral

Why is Mistral prioritised in Sourix?

Three reasons: (1) Sovereignty β€” Mistral is a French startup based in Paris; its AI is trained and hosted under European jurisdiction. (2) Performance β€” Mistral Large rivals GPT-4 on French-language tasks. (3) Consistency β€” a French tool should trust French AI. Sourix tests Mistral systematically in every scan, even if other AIs are disabled by the client.

Is Mistral GDPR-compliant?

Yes. Mistral AI is a French company based in Paris, subject to French and European law. Its primary servers are in Europe. Mistral does not transmit your data to foreign jurisdictions, and its DPA is aligned with GDPR standards.

Practical

How do I cancel my Sourix subscription?

One click from your Billing area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month. No minimum commitment, no penalty, no sales call required. You can export all your data in CSV+JSON before cancellation (GDPR Article 20 right).

What happens if Sourix shuts down?

You export all your data in one click in CSV+JSON format (Article 20 GDPR β€” right to portability). Our founder offer includes a full refund guarantee if the service is not delivered within D+90. Beyond that, your data can be migrated to any other compatible tool (open, non-proprietary format).
